SJR State's federal school code for the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is 001523. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by April 1st for the upcoming
academic year. In order to complete the FAFSA, you (and at least one parent if you are a dependent student) must have an FSA ID to have access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and to serve as your legal signature. You may create an FSA ID by visiting https://fsaid.ed.gov
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS
If you are due to receive a refund from your financial aid award(s) for the upcoming semester (or the current semester if classes have started), refunds are scheduled to be delivered by the SJR State Business Office by the end of the day listed below in the section "2016/2017 SCHEDULED STUDENT REFUND DATES." Your refund will be processed through BankMobile Disbursements. To view our required disclosures and contract with BankMobile, a Division of Customers Bank, Click Here. Through BankMobile you have the option to receive your refund via an electronic deposit to another bank account, an electronic deposit to a BankMobile Vibe Account, or a paper check. 2017/18 SCHEDULED STUDENT REFUND DATES*

Fall 2017 – September 15, 2017
St. Johns River State College’s closure due to Hurricane Irma will delay student refund processing. The new date students can expect their refunds is Friday, September 22. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience during this time.
- Spring 2018 – February 2, 2018
- Summer 2018 – June 1, 2018
*Your financial aid file must be complete and awarded; you must be registered and attending classes in the respective term.
BOOK AUTHORIZATION DATES
Book authorizations will be available* on the following dates (these dates are for the 2017/18 academic year; next year will be announced in July 2018):
- Fall 2017 – August 14 through September 8, 2017
- Spring 2018 - **December 11, 2017 through January 26, 2018
- Summer and Summer A 2018 – May 3 through May 24, 2018
- Summer B 2018 – June 20 through July 5, 2018
*Your financial aid file must be complete and awarded.
**Please note that the Bookstore will be closed from noon on December 15, 2017, until January 3, 2018. Please make sure to plan your bookstore purchases accordingly.
