A SJR STATE PHOTO ID CARD IS REQUIRED FOR BORROWING LIBRARY MATERIAL
 Students should get the SJR State Photo ID at the campus Student Center. Bring your SJR State Photo ID card to the Library for a barcode. You will need this barcode to check out library materials.
If you do not have a SJR State Photo ID card, you will need to present a driver's license & printed barcode the Library will provide you to check-out library materials.
Your SJR State Photo ID (with the SJR State Library's barcode attached) is also accepted at all of Florida's community/state college and university libraries.
Student library privileges are valid for the current semester only. While the photo SJR State Student ID card is valid for several years, the library privileges associated with the card are not. Library privileges expire at the end of each term. Library privileges will automatically renew at the beginning of the next semester for which you are registered.
To associate library borrowing privileges with a SJR State Photo ID or driver's license:
- You must be registered for classes during the current semester.
- Your account must be in good standing; if you have outstanding fees or library obligations, a barcode will not be issued or renewed.
- Your registration must be verifiable using the SJR State student database (Banner). Students who do not appear in Banner must provide a registration receipt.
YOU DO NOT NEED A LIBRARY CARD/BARCODE NUMBER TO ACCESS THE ONLINE DATABASES
Current SJR State students automatically have access to the online databases at the beginning of each semester through the end of that semester. Students who access the databases via the Library tab in My SJR State do not need to log-in to the databases separately - your My SJR State log-in will automatically provide you access to the Library's databases. Your access will expire at the end of the semester & will automatically renew at the beginning of the next semester for which you are registered.

OTHER LIBRARY CARDS
The St. Johns River State College Libraries serve not only currently registered students, but state university students, St. Leo students, other Florida College System students, dual-enrolled students, community patrons, and local educators. For information about obtaining one of these cards, please refer to our Circulation Services Policy Manual (pdf file) or contact your local campus library.
PLEASE NOTE: Other community college students and state university students may not use the SJR State computer labs or request ILLs through SJR State. State university and St. Leo students cannot access online databases using the SJR State card. Local educators and community patrons do not have access to the online databases, campus computer labs, reciprocal borrowing or inter-library loan. The local public library provides databases, computing and ILL services for these groups.
