St. Johns River State College announces its new Practical Nursing program for students interested in becoming licensed practical nurses. Approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, this year-long vocational certificate program includes 1,350 hours of nursing coursework.
The Practical Nursing program is designed for students to gain the knowledge and skills to qualify for entry-level positions in nursing. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for the State Board Examination for Licensed Practical Nursing.
