Adult Ed/GED early registration begins at SJR State

St. Johns River State College announces its fall early registration dates for the Adult Education/GED classes. The classes, previously managed by the Putnam County School District, will be offered at three locations. Morning, day and evening classes will be ongoing, beginning August 27.

Early registration is set for August 6 - 24, from 8:00 - 5:30 p.m. on the SJR State Palatka campus only. There is a $30 registration/tuition fee, and proof of Florida residency is required (non-Florida residents - $120).

The classroom locations are as follows:
SJR State Palatka campus - 5001 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka
Interlachen Elementary School - 251 South County Road 315, Interlachen
Miller Intermediate School - 101 South Prospect Street, Crescent City

The first GED testing date has been scheduled for September 13 and 14. Test registration will be held September 4. GED testing and registration is located on the SJR State Palatka campus only. The cost of the full battery of tests is $70.00. Additional testing dates will be announced soon.
