SJR State to hold baccalaureate information sessions


St. Johns River State College will hold information sessions for students interested in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management and the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education degree programs. The sessions will focus on questions regarding program details and requirements. The following sessions have been scheduled:

Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management:
Orange Park Campus - March 19 at 6:00 p.m., Room H1110
Palatka Campus - March 27 at 6:00 p.m., Room L114
St. Augustine Campus - March 29 at 6:00 p.m., Room H0103

Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education:
Palatka Campus - March 22 at 6:00 p.m., Room S203
St. Augustine Campus - March 27 at 6:00 p.m., Room L112
Orange Park Campus - March 29 at 6:00 p.m., Room D0014

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management offers three specializations: supervision and management, health care administration and public services administration. The

specializations will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the workforce in mid-level management positions and prepare them for careers within the public, private and non-profit sectors.

The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education prepares students for teaching careers. Graduates will be eligible to apply for a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in PreKindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 - grade 3). Students will also earn endorsements in reading and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).
