SJR State College to hold bachelor's degree information sessions

St. Johns River State College is offering information sessions for those interested in the Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. The sessions will focus on questions regarding the program details and requirements. The following sessions have been scheduled:

Orange Park Campus - July 19 at 6:00 p.m., Room D0014
St. Augustine Campus - July 23 at 6:00 p.m., Room L112
Palatka Campus - July 24 at 6:00 p.m., Room S201

The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education will prepare students for teaching careers. Graduates will be eligible to apply for a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in Pre-Kindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 - grade 3). Students will also earn endorsements in reading and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).
