Adult Ed/GED registration at SJR State
St. Johns River State College has announced registration dates for the General Educational Development (GED) exam. The GED Examination will be administered to Putnam County residents on the SJR State Palatka campus on the following dates:

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on the Palatka campus and is on a first-come basis. The cost of the full battery of tests is $70.00, and a Social Security Card and Driver's License or Official ID card are required
to register for the exam. Students who are under the age of 18 must be enrolled in an adult education program and be recommended to take the GED test.
The GED test takes approximately eight hours to complete all five subtests, which are taken over two days. Test results are mailed within six to eight weeks after taking the test.
Registration for adult basic education and GED test preparation classes is ongoing. Classes are available on the SJR State Palatka campus, Interlachen Elementary School and Miller Intermediate School. Registration is on the SJR State Palatka campus only. There is a $30 registration/tuition fee, and proof of Florida residency is required (non-Florida residents - $120).
