St. Johns River State College’s computer science and technology instructor Ruth Manlandro, Ph. D., recently gave a demonstration of the College’s 3-D printer to students and faculty. Manlandro created a bookmark in approximately 48 minutes, printing it layer by layer using precisely coded instructions and plastic thread. The printer is an excellent learning tool for robotics and computer program students.

Manlandro will give another demonstration of the 3-D printer on May 20 at 9:00 a.m. on the Palatka campus.
