Dance, music, art classes offered to the public

Florida School of the Arts will offer a select number of elective classes this spring on all three St. Johns River State College campuses. Students interested in awakening their artistic talents can now take classes designed for the beginning and intermediate levels. The classes are credit courses and are open to the public. Classes offered for the spring semester include:

Palatka Campus (Classes meet at Florida School of the Arts)
Printmaking I (ART 1400C) - M & W 9:00-11:50 a.m.
Ceramics I (ART 2750C) - T & R 1:00-3:50 p.m.
Class Voice I (MVV 1111) - T & R 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Class Piano I (MVK 1111) - T & R 2:30-3:45 p.m.
Dramatic Literature (THE 2300) - MWF 12:00-12:50 p.m.
Theatre Rendering Techniques (TPA 2071) - T & &R 10:00-11:20 a.m.
Costume Construction I (TPA 1232) - MWF 10:00-10:50 a.m.
Fundamentals of Tap I (DAA 1520) – T & R 10:00-10:50 a.m.

Orange Park Campus (Classes meet at the Thrasher-Horne Center)

Acceptance into the Florida School of the Arts is not a requirement for these classes. However, students must have applied and been accepted to St. Johns River State College before registering for the class. Classes begin January 11.
