Florida School of the Arts to hold open house

dancePotential Florida School of the Arts students will have an opportunity to visit the school’s campus, meet the faculty, and ask questions of current and former students at an open house event to be held on Saturday, February 21 at 2:30 p.m.  

Auditions and portfolio reviews will be held on Friday, February 20.  Students may call (386) 312-4300 to schedule an audition appointment.  

Florida School of the Arts is part of the academic and administrative structure of St. Johns River State College and awards the two-year associate degree in the following areas of study:  acting, dance performance, musical theater, stage management, theater technology, graphic design and studio art. The school serves the entire state of Florida and is located on the Palatka campus. Admission is based on an audition or portfolio review, an interview with the faculty and admission to SJR State.
