SJR State offers variety of non-credit courses
St. Johns River State College will offer a variety of non-credit leisure and professional development courses on its Orange Park campus this fall. These classes reach beyond the traditional offerings of the college and have no prerequisites. Continuing and community education classes cannot be used to satisfy the requirements of a degree or certificate program.
The following non-credit courses will be offered on the Orange Park campus:
Advanced Digital Photography – Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.; 11/8 – 12/13/16
Basic Life Support General Requirement/Recertification – Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; offered on 9/10/16, 10/1/16, 11/5/16 and 12/3/16
Digital Photography – Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.; 9/13 – 10/25/16
Intermediate Microsoft Excel 2013 – Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.; 9/29 – 10/20/16
Intermediate Microsoft Word 2013 – Wednesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.; 10/26 – 11/16/16
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint – Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.; 8/25 – 9/15/16
Registration fees vary for each course, and students may register for one or several courses. The location of Basic Life Support classes is subject to change. A minimum of four students is required for each class, so students are encouraged to sign up with a friend. Additional dates can be arranged to accommodate a group wishing to take a class.
