The first place net winners were Chris Bales, Cody Hacker, Brian Knighten and Scott Westney.

John Garrett won the putting contest and a La-Z-Boy recliner donated by McKinnon Home Furnishings.

Winning “closest to pin” were players Tyler Anderson (#3), Jim Roach (#6), Tanner Tipton (#12), Tom Sykes (#14) and Bobby Payne (#16). Tipton also won the longest drive on hole number 9.

Thanks to the participants, hole sponsors and sponsors Jack Wilson Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, Oliver Oaks & Vines, Florida Radiation Oncology Group, Georgia Pacific and GTF Paintball, the athletic department will continue its recruiting efforts with additional funds for its three athletic programs.
SJR State’s athletic programs are based on the Palatka campus and consist of men’s baseball, women’s fastpitch softball and women’s volleyball. For more information about the golf classic, contact the SJR State Athletic Department at (386) 312-4162.
