LPN to RN program application period approaching
The LPN Bridge program at St. Johns River State College is designed to assist Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who want to take their education and skills to the next level. The program gives students a jump start on earning their Associate in Science degree in Nursing by awarding 10 college credit hours toward the degree. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Applications will be accepted June 1 - 30. Nursing core courses begin in August. Applicants needing to complete the general education requirements are encouraged to enroll for the summer session. The first summer session begins May 10.
Courses will be offered in a blended/hybrid format consisting of online courses with on-campus lab and clinical experiences. Students who qualify for financial assistance may be able to obtain help through scholarships, loans or grants.
The A.S. Degree in Nursing program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
