TRANSIENT STUDENTS

Transient students are currently enrolled college students who register for courses at another institution on a temporary basis (ex: university student attending summer semester at a state college).

Students use this option to take a class or classes if: their "home" college or university does not offer a class they need/desire; they need a more flexible class schedule; or they are residing in the service area of another college for an extended period of time. Online classes are also eligible to meet these conditions.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be in good academic standing and currently enrolled at home school;
  • Successfully completed any applicable prerequisites for the course(s) in which you plan to enroll
  • Approved transient application
