Health Information Technology

Whether you begin full time or one class at a time, SJR State is committed to helping you make your goals become a reality. SJR State's tuition is affordable when compared to other educational institutions. Our smaller class sizes mean more one-on-one contact from your instructors, and our campus locations are close to home.

Health Information Technicians serve as medical coders, clinical data specialists, data quality managers, and information security officers. They hold supervisor, manager, and director positions in health care settings across the continuum of the health care industry.

The Health Information Technology program is a limited access program. Core courses will be offered on the St. Augustine Campus only.
