Funds are available for qualifying students and may be used for expenses such as rent, utilities, mechanic bills, medical bills, and similar needs. Awards are processed during the fall, spring, and summer semesters during operational hours.

  • Must be experiencing an unforeseen expense that, if not resolved quickly, could lead to loss of momentum toward completion.
  • Student must not have received assistance from this program previously, as it is a one-time stipend.
  • Requests must be submitted prior to two weeks before the last day of the semester.

Random Acts of Kindness funds cannot be used for tuition and fees. For scholarships, visit SJRstate.edu/scholarships.
