The Associate in Science in Agribusiness Management (Horticulture Technician specialization) is a two-year (60 credit hour) degree program that prepares students for employment as an agricultural professional, manager or supervisor. The content includes but is not limited to,instruction that prepares individuals to apply the economic and business principles involved in the organization, operation and management of agricultural businesses.

Program learning outcomes:

  • Supervise and manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of an agricultural enterprise.
  • Interpret and apply state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Identify, classify, and demonstrate management activities.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of legal and ethical issues in a business environment.
