The BAS in Digital Art and Media prepares students for careers in graphic design, illustration, visual communication, and animation through hands-on coursework in digital audio and video production, web design, and animation. Students develop advanced creative and technical skills to craft compelling digital narratives and build a professional portfolio.
Graduates can pursue roles as:
- Visual Content Creators
- Multimedia Designers
- SFX Artists & Animators
- Art Directors
- Illustrators
Students must have an A.A. or A.S. in Visual Art. Once admitted:
- A.A. students complete 18 credit hours of lower-division program core courses.
- A.S. students complete 18 credit hours of lower-division general education coursework.
- All students complete 42 credit hours of upper-division courses, totaling 120 semester hours.
An optional teaching track is available for those interested in teaching K-12.
