Dual Enrollment

Application Checklist – Dual Enrollment Program



After reviewing the account and application steps, click “Apply Now” to begin your Dual Enrollment application for SJR State.

To complete your Dual Enrollment application:

  1. Create an SJR State account and write down your username and password.
  2. Complete the online application in full.
  3. Confirm your high school counselor has your required test scores and can upload them.
  4. Verify high school counselor email and send consent request to them.
    (Located in “Supplemental Items.”)
  5. YOU MUST log in to your SJR State account and complete:

    • The student agreement
    • The parent consent form
      (Located in “Supplemental Items.”)
  6. Log back into your SJR State account to verify all consent forms are marked complete.
  7. Monitor the email address used on your application for acceptance details and next steps.
  8. Your high school counselor will submit final approval of your application to your Dual Enrollment Advisor.


What happens next?

  • Once your Dual Enrollment Advisor receives your counselor’s approval and test scores, your application will be submitted to Admissions for activation.
  • Continue checking your email for status updates and required actions.
  • After your application is activated, you will receive instructions to log in to the MySJRstate student portal.
  • All new Dual Enrollment students must complete the Dual Enrollment Orientation in Canvas before registering for classes.
