A.S. Degree
This program is designed to prepare paramedics to work in management positions in emergency medical services.
Florida certified paramedics who have completed a Florida approved program and have passed the state licensure exam will be awarded 42 semester hours of college credit toward this degree.

Program Length: Students with a state license can complete the program in three semesters when attending full time.
- One year: Paramedic certificate
- Two years: The A.S. degree program can be completed in approximately two years with students attending classes full-time.
- Four years: Complete your A.S. degree and continue your education with SJR State’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Organizational Management and a specialization in Health Care Administration.
