Career Certificate
This program is designed to prepare students for employment as nursing assistants, nursing aides and orderlies in nursing homes. Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to take the national nursing assistant examination being utilized in Florida in accordance with Chapter 400.211, F.S. and Part II Chapter 464, F.S.
This program consists of 120 contact hours and includes, but is not limited to, interpersonal skills, medical terminology, legal and ethical responsibilities, safe and efficient work, employability skills, gerontology, nutrition, pet-facilitated therapy, health and safety, including American Health Association Life Support/Health Care Provider CPR.

Location: Orange Park campus
Classes will be held July 5 – 28, Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Clinicals will be 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at facilities within the tri-county area, days are yet to be determined.
