Career Certificate

Interested in becoming a licensed practical nurse? Approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, this year-long career certificate program includes 1,350 hours of nursing coursework.

The Practical Nursing program (LPN) is designed for students to gain the knowledge and skills to qualify for entry-level positions in nursing. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply for the State Board Examination for Licensed Practical Nursing.

Program Details

Start Date: August 2021
Nursing programs are dependent on clinical experiences. Start dates for each nursing program may be delayed, based on clinical availability.

Location: The practical nursing core courses rotate each year between the Palatka and at the Orange Park campus. The Fall 2020 class will be offered in Palatka and the Fall 2021 in Orange Park.
