Annual Student Tree Campus Project at The Ravine Gardens

Tree Campus project

SJR State students, including students from Jennifer Gibson’s classes spent Tuesday morning planting azalea trees as a part of SJR State’s annual student Tree Campus Project in conjunction with Ravine Gardens State Park.

University of Florida’s Horticulture Agent I Julio Perez and Park Ranger Paige Jones led the students in properly planting the azaleas to give them the best chance at thriving in the park.

Great job, Vikings! We can’t wait to watch these trees grow.
