SJR State to host manufacturing/engineering information session
St. Johns River State College will host virtual information sessions for those interested in careers in advanced manufacturing. The Engineering Technology A.S. degree offers students hands-on, specialized skills training to manage, operate, calibrate and troubleshoot the latest manufacturing equipment and tools – all within SJR State’s state-of-the-art mechatronics lab.
Possible careers include process and production technicians, industrial machinery mechanics, programmable logic control technicians and operators, and industrial engineering technicians. The potential earnings range for this program is $18.83 - $29.54 per hour.
The information sessions are free and open to the public via Zoom:
Tuesday, April 13 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.
Wednesday, April 14 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
Thursday, April 15 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

Classes begin in August. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
