SJR State to hold career fair at Palatka campus
St. Johns River State College will aid students, graduates and the public in answering their biggest question – “Where are the jobs?” with a career fair on the Palatka Campus, Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Dress for success, update your resume, and visit with local businesses presenting career opportunities in banking, government, human services, manufacturing, restaurant, retail, healthcare and more. Jobs will range from entry-level to managerial.
The event will feature a range of business/organizations from Putnam County, including:
- Capital City Bank
- CareerSource NEFL
- Certain Teed
- Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch
- Georgia-Pacific
- HCA Florida Putnam Hospital
- Putnam County School District
- Putnam County Sheriff's Office
- Palatka Police Department
- St. Johns Ship Building
- Putnam County Board of County Commissioners
- Putnam County Clerk of Court
- Vac-Con
- Veritas Steel
- And more!
Representatives from SJR State’s Adult Education Office will also be present for anyone interested in earning their GED. Representatives from SJR State’s HR Office will be present for those interested in positions available at the College.
Representatives from JAX USA Partnership/Earn UP will be on hand to promote the economic development of its seven-county JAX USA region and to share information about local industries and jobs.
