FloArts presents summer intensive dance concert
Florida School of the Arts presents a free concert featuring participants from its Dance Summer Intensive Workshop. The week-long experience was filled with masterclasses in ballet, contemporary, repertory, jazz, and other special topics led by faculty and guests artists. The workshop offered new dancers to be immersed in the college dance experience. The week concludes Friday, June 9 at 5:30 p.m. with a performance - open to the public - on the FloArts main stage.
Participants include students from local high schools including Pedro Menendez, Flagler Palm Coast, and Deland high schools; and St. Augustine Dance Academy.
Florida School of the Arts is part of the academic and administrative structure of St. Johns River State College and awards the two-year associate degree.
