Vikings players named to All-Sun-Lakes Conference Teams

Student-athletes from the St. Johns River State College baseball team ended their regular season with notable honors.

Brody Dalton was named to the Sun Lakes Conference 1st team and was named the conference Player of the Year. Brody hit .339 with 15 doubles, 18 HR’s, and 55 RBI’s. His OPS was 1.138.

Making the All-Sun-Lakes Conference second team are Jan Oquendo, Ben Barrow, Thomas Bly, Griffin Howe, and Danny Lazaro.

The Vikings (29-25 overall, 15-15 in conference) are the third seed, and will play Thursday, May 1 in this week’s Region 8 Division II tournament verses South Florida State College, held at Pasco Hernando State College.
