Works include animation, paintings, new media and digital art. According to studio art professor Dan Askew, “The opening of these exhibitions gives the artists the opportunity to share their studio practices and conceptual process with an attending audience who are usually quite inquisitive about the work.”
Graduates presenting their work include Jester Cordona, Natalia Durbin and Joy Tucker (studio art),
Rayne Hughes and Jayda Lawson (animation), and Alyssa Wallace (photography).
The exhibit is open to the public from through May 8 in the FloArts main gallery located on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College. Gallery hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and during main stage performances.
