Strategic Communications

The mission of the Strategic Communications is to celebrate and promote the St. Johns River State College story, encourage personal and professional growth, and build connections between the College and communities served. The Strategic Communications Department provides the following:

BRAND GUIDE

Protecting and promoting the SJR State brand in print and digital communication. Branding Guide

DIGITAL STRATEGIES

Providing leadership and support for digital initiatives including digital marketing, email marketing, CRM management, analytics, and social media to promote enrollment and engagement with the college through relevant messaging.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

Collaborating with college faculty and staff to deliver accurate and consistent college news/events in a timely fashion.

MARKETING

Creating strategic marketing campaigns that attract prospective students and increase awareness of college successes and program offerings using a variety of methods, including branding, promotional items, events, and paid advertising.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Facilitating information to the media and public, crisis communication, and celebrating student, faculty, and staff success.

RECRUITING

Attracting prospective students to the college through high school visits, campus tours, college-wide open houses, community events and digital communication.

WEBSITE

Showcasing the college’s mission, programs and achievements through visually compelling design and intuitive navigation to drive enrollment, retention, and community engagement..
