TOBACCO-FREE COLLEGE

Tobacco Free logoAs part of the College's Workplace Wellness Program, and in keeping with our commitment to provide a healthy and safe College environment, SJR State is now a tobacco-free college. The tobacco-free policy became effective January 1, 2015.

The tobacco-free policy applies to all students, employees and visitors who are on College property. A tobacco-free campus is one that prohibits the use of all forms of tobacco and smoking, including cigarettes, loose-leaf tobacco, snuff and electronic devices. The tobacco-free policy applies to all campus properties, walkways, sidewalks and parking lots, as well as personal vehicles in these areas and includes the removal of designated smoking areas.
