PUBLIC NOTICE: MARCH 13, 2024

SJR State District Board of Trustees meeting Mar. 27

PALATKA, FL (Mar.13, 2024) – The St. Johns River State College District Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Mar. 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Thrasher-Horne Center, conference suites C and D, on the Orange Park Campus, 283 College Drive, Orange Park, Florida. Prior to the meeting at 1 p.m. the Board will hold a workshop. An Executive Session on collective bargaining will be held immediately following the regular board meeting.

The agenda will include a public hearing for consideration of the following rules:

  • Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 6.03 (R8) Standards of Conduct
  • Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 6.33 (R2) Student Ombudsman
  • Amendment to SJR State Board Rule 7.22 (R14) Limited Access Program
  • Changes to Admission and Readmission requirements for the following programs:

    • AS: Nursing (including LPN Bridge program)
    • AS: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology (new program)
    • AS: Health Information Technology
    • AS: Radiologic Technology
    • AS: Respiratory Care

Additional agenda items may include but are not limited to business affairs, personnel matters, facilities items, academic and student affairs. If any person wishes to appeal any decision made by the Board of Trustees of SJR State College with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he or she will need a recording of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
