SJR State District Board of Trustees meeting June 18

PALATKA, FL (May 27, 2025) – The St. Johns River State College District Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the in the board room of the Administration Building at the Palatka Campus, 5001 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Florida. An Executive Session on collective bargaining will immediately follow the meeting in the board room.

The District Board of Trustees of St. Johns River State College will hold a public hearing for the following rule to be taken into consideration:

  • Amendment to SJR Board Rule 3.23 Anti-Hazing Policy

Estimated economic impact on all affected people cannot be determined at this time. Written comments may be submitted within 14 days of the date of this notice to:

Substantially affected people may, within 14 days of the date of this notice, file an objection to this rulemaking with the agency. The objection shall specify the portions of the proposed rule to which the person objects and the specific reasons for the objection. The full text of the proposed rule is available upon request.

Additional agenda items may include but are not limited to business affairs, personnel matters, facilities items, academic and student affairs. If any person wishes to appeal any decision made by the Board of Trustees of SJR State College with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he or she will need a recording of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
