PRESS RELEASE: NOVEMBER 1, 2023

SJR State scholarship application opens Nov. 1

2024-25 scholarship application opens Nov. 1

St. Johns River State College is pleased to announce the scholarship application for the 2024-25 academic year is open. One single application puts students in the applicant pool for more than 150 scholarships made possible by generous contributions from local businesses, non-profit entities and individuals.

Last year, the Foundation awarded more than $163K in scholarships, providing the financial assistance necessary to aid students in completing their degrees and become skilled members of the workforce. The selection of scholarships are designed to benefit students enrolled in a range of associates or bachelor’s degree programs and who possess different needs, talents and qualifications. Students are encouraged to apply early.

Before applying, students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as some scholarships require it. The scholarship application closes April 1, 2024. For more information, visit https://www.sjrstate.edu/scholarships.
