Quick Tips for Testers



Parking Instructions

  • Testers should park in their approved commuter lots.
  • Please refer to attached parking maps.

Payment Instructions

  • Payments may be paid via credit/debit card.
  • Cash payments can be paid at the Admissions/Business offices.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • Make sure to keep your exam receipts until test is completed.

Cancellations, No-shows, and rescheduling

  • As soon as you know of a needed change to your testing schedule, please call our office at 386-312-4228.
  • If you missed your exam, contact us at 386-312-4228.

Identification

  • Government issued ID – must be current and contain both a photo & signature (photocopies are not acceptable).
  • For third party testing agencies, follow their ID requirements.
  • Dual Enrolled/Collegiate High School testers are allowed to use their high school ID.

Registration

  • It is the student's responsibility to schedule a test time with our Testing Center.
  • Due to limited seating, testing at our facility by appointment is strongly encouraged. If you do not feel well or have a fever, you need to reschedule your testing appointment.
  • The student/tester is responsible for adhering to deadlines set by their professor(s).

Tester Conduct

  • Testers are expected to adhere to the St. Johns River State College Student Code of Conduct.
  • Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, cheating, misconduct and/or disruptive behavior, leaving the testing area during an exam, taking the exam for someone else, removing test material from the testing center, giving or receiving assistance, using unauthorized aids, etc.
  • Actions taken
    • Confiscate unauthorized material.
    • File an Incident report and notify professor/vendor.
    • Threatening behavior – College Security will be notified.

Prohibited Items

  • No electronic devices in the testing rooms.
  • Cell phones and smart watches must be powered off before going into lockers.
  • No food or drinks in the testing rooms.
  • No tobacco products or electronic cigarettes are allowed on campus.
  • Academic Testing Services and its staff assume no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items brought into the testing center.
  • Most personal belongings (i.e. electronics, lanyards and keys, sunglasses, hats, watches, food and beverages, etc.) are prohibited in the testing rooms.
  • Personal items will be collected and placed in lockers until the completion of an exam.
