Dual Enrollment

Welcome to Dual Enrollment!

If you are a high school student in Clay, Putnam, or St. Johns County, now is the time to start thinking about your college plans. In fact, with St. Johns River State College's Dual Enrollment program, you can ease your transition to college and get ahead on your college courses while you're still in high school!

Dual Enrollment provides eligible accelerated high school students the opportunity to simultaneously earn college credit while earning credit toward a high school diploma. Public and private high school students as well as home-schooled students are served by this program that was created by Florida Statute 1007.271 and is governed by state law.

Each year, the Dual Enrollment Office holds information sessions at each of SJR State’s campuses for interested prospective students and parents during the month of February. In August, before the fall semester starts, the Dual Enrollment Office presents an Orientation Session at each of SJR State’s campuses. These presentations are listed below as well as other presentations that address the topics of selecting college courses, viewing SJR State’s schedule and individual student’s schedule, and logging into MySJRState.
